GPS-Denied Autonomy for Government Use

Range is a wholly owned subsidiary of Exyn Technologies, applying our advanced autonomy and mapping technologies to government and national security use cases. Structured explicitly to serve the defense community, Range equips uncrewed systems with next-generation capabilities where traditional navigation and mapping fails.

Deploy faster. Navigate smarter.

Operate where others can’t.

The Range Autonomy & Mapping stack is powered by our field-tested autonomy featuring LiDAR-based SLAM, Level 4B navigation, and edge-based decision-making for denied environments -- delivering tactical autonomy for GPS- and comms-denied operations across sUAS, UGV, and maritime platforms.

Level 4B Autonomy

GPS-Denied Doesn't Mean Defeated

Range Autonomy compiles and executes on the edge, completely onboard the robotic platform with no need for outside comms or GPS. Lightweight compute that can intelligently react to a novel, dynamic, and dangerous environment. Range collects and stores all data during the mission, to be processed and analyzed once back in range.

Autonomy Built for Challenging Environments

Designed to perform in the most demanding conditions:
Robust Localization: Reliable and accurate localization performance across challenging environments, including GPS-rich, GPS-denied, high-speed, and complex 3D settings.
Precision Mapping: Generate survey-grade 3D maps in real-time, even in GPS-denied or signal-limited environments.
Proven Field-Tested Autonomy: Validated across hundreds of deployments and tens of thousands of flights, with demonstrated resilience and reliability in diverse and challenging conditions, including dusty environments and obstacle-rich terrains.

Autonomy

The Range SDK is designed to integrate with industry-standard autonomy interfaces such as PX4, MAVLink, DDS, and modern C2 platforms including ROS 2-based systems and mission planning software.
